I’m working on a few deadlines this week, so I’m probably going to be brief with my posts.
But hopefully I can give you enough to think about in a photo.
One of the things I’m writing about (offline) today is my travel writing tour of Việt Nam, and in particular, about this little girl. I met her outside of Đà Nẵng, at base of the statue of Quan (the) Âm, Bodhisatva of Mercy. Her mother was encouraging me to photograph her, but the girl was reluctant, giving me the peace sign at her mother’s insistance.
I knew you would all love her photo and I hope it spurs as much imagination in you as the reality of the meeting did for me.
Love, Marla .
P.S. For my fitness friends supporting me on my daily progress, here’s my booyah! from yesterday:

The girl is just too cute.
