Birds of Southern Africa
Updated with her newest sightings, “Traveling MarLa” brings you the colorful, crazy birds of southern Africa. Bird calls will accompany the photo and video presentation by MarLa Sink Druzgal. See and hear the bird with “The Call of Africa,” and listen to folklore and behavioral accounts of the vibrant, flying wildlife of the country. Presentation will include an exhibit of crafts and other items related to birds of southern Africa, along with a Q&A following the talk.

Explore a variety of West African species encountered along the way, and learn about the series of failures that nearly ended the search. Multi-media presentation with Q&A.

K-12 Students who are enrolled in The Ark of Learning program are invited to join MarLa Sink Druzgal for a one-hour presentation as she shares photos, audio and video of her time in the country, while busting a few myths and recounting a few adventures.
