Christmas Birds

My December column has posted over at Expat Focus. Please take a moment to follow this link to read it, share it, and support my work there:

Christmas Birds in South Africa

And as always, a few more photos for my readers here, to accompany the column…

In other news on this Manuscript Monday, I’ve been working mostly offline in recent weeks, trying to shape this collection of Africa stories to begin shopping around in 2015. Many changes are coming for the website, as well as new published poetry and essays coming out in 2015. I can’t wait to share each item with you as it goes to print.

Love, Marla

P.S. Please also enjoy this special video I made so our family and friends can experience the singing of a Woodland Kingfisher. (I hope you won’t mind that I’m also talking in the video, to my grand-nieces back in Pennsylvania.)

    1. They are definitely one of the things I’ll miss most when we move to our next assignment. I’m so glad you liked the story and thank you for taking time to share your love for weavers, too! 🙂
