Crocs, Hippos…and Bilharzia?

Crocs, Hippos…and Bilharzia?

I just realized I never shared my June column on the Traveling Marla site! Since today is Manuscript Monday, and since I do hope all these South African adventures one day find themselves into a new collection of stories, I hope you don’t mind my sharing my Expat Focus column:

Crocodiles, Hippos…And Bilharzia in South Africa?

Those of you following me on Facebook may have already seen it, but if you haven’t, please do give it a read. And as always, I’m going to share extra photos just for you, so please see the slideshow below for more of our adventure through the Blyde River Canyon.

Love, Marla

P.S. Please note one correction in the article. The photos at the bottom of the article are attributed incorrectly to Kruger National Park, but they are in fact from the Blyde River Canyon. The fault was due to my wording in the article itself when discussing baobab trees in each park.
