I stay at the Radisson each time I visit Los Angeles, and have always gotten a high, north facing room, because I like to see the Hollywood sign. This is the first time I’ve been low and south, and I’m kind of glad, because I decided to leave the curtains open and let the changing colors of the airport pillars be my nightlight.
Given my somewhat psychedelic dreams the last few nights, I’m pretty sure those colors are registering while I sleep.
Love, Marla
The first night, I rearranged my chair to face the pillars and worked on the manuscript while letting the changing colors put me into that great writing zone.
My dreams last night were really a purple haze. :-/
I’m pretty sure this color scheme is because one of the primary colors is burned out. I don’t remember a faded pinkish white. If it is intentional, it’s kind of bland.
My favorite is when the colors are in the process of changing and you can watch them chasing each other around the pillars.
