Weekend Window: Flashback Photo Blog of Madison’s Walnut St. Fire Co. No. 4

Walnut St Fire Co 4Missing Madison again today. Thought I would share some photos of visiting the firehouse of Walnut Street Fire Company No. 4 in Madison, Indiana. Jack Bird took us there during a nice tour of the surrounding towns and parts of Madison. I think even if Kurt weren’t a Safety Manager (a job for which he has to be familiar with the standards of NFPA as well as OSHA and EPA and probably a dozen other acronyms I don’t know) he is just always interested in how things work. For me, I just love watching two grown men get so excited over a firetruck. Aww, who am I kidding, who (male or female) doesn’t get excited over a firetruck?

Next weekend: a photo blog of the historical firehouse of Walnut Street FC No. 4, now a museum.

Love, Marla
