Annin Flag Factory Tour, Part 1: Patriotic Weekend Window!

Birth of U.S. Marine Corps November 10 1775
Goofing around with my brother and uncle Jack at a recent Murphy reunion. I picked this photo because today is my brother’s birthday and the birth of the U.S. Marine Corps, in which my uncle Jack was enlisted “back in the day.” 😉

This weekend’s photo blogs are from my tour of the Annin Flag Factory in Coshocton, Ohio.  I had so many great pics from there that I figured I will just make the entire weekend full of patriotic photos.

Today I’m celebrating the birth of my brother (in the 60s) and the birth of the U.S. Marine Corps (1775).

Tomorrow I will give you the second half of the tour for Veteran’s Day.

Do you fly the flag at your house? Which holidays do you put up your red, white and blue?

Love, Marla

  1. And I’ll be wearing my poppy in Canada. My son is a bagpiper in the Irish Fusiliers – so will be in the parade and heading out to all the Legions to meet the Vets. My father was a WWII vet. This is a special day for all of us….

  2. Don’t have the union jack flying from our house but as you probably know its Remembrance Sunday for us in the UK tomorrow; so along with the rest of the nation I shall proudly be wearing my poppy and taking part in the two minutes silence tomorrow.
