Coshocton, Ohio: Here’s to 9 Months of Discovery

Grappling onto a fleeting wifi connection here in our new temporary home of Coshocton, Ohio. We will live here for the next 9 months while a friend lives in and cares for our home and cat in Lover, PA. I have to admit I was pretty wary of the town at first. Coming from his last assignment in Madison, Indiana, I was spoiled on a different kind of downtown.

But Coshocton is a city revitalizing its roots, as I realized after meeting with Jan, Amy and Billie at the Chamber of Commerce and exploring Visit Coshocton, I’m excited to find new adventures here. Perhaps I’ll get to tour a flag-making company, or maybe I’ll make a trip to the Longaberger Basket Company, or have a non-photo blog of Ohio’s Amish communities nearby.

Tonight I’m starting with meeting locals at Business After Hours at the Village Pantry. Our internet should finally be hooked up tonight and starting tomorrow I will be bringing you my traveling adventures once more.

Love, Marla
