Points of gratitude today. Regatta post tomorrow.

My husband and best friend of 17 years, Kurt

Grateful…

For my husband. There is nothing that equals a marriage except one that contains the best friendship you could ever imagine.

For a mentor and friend, who reminded me this morning that “Life is a privilege. It’s not why. It’s how.”

For the Madison Indiana Observer, who gave me a lovely shout-out yesterday… They gave a brief description of who I am and what I’m doing here, then linked to my Madison posts. What a wonderful thing to do. Here is their brief: http://madisonindiana.us/traveling-marla-visits-madison/

For Crazy Train to Tinky Town, a blogger I love to read, who nominated me for the

I’m sorry it took me so long to acknowledge and thank you for this. There are several bloggers I read regularly, including Crazy Train, and if anybody deserves it, it’s them:

For Baxter and Shaggy, who give far more than they can ever get from me.

For the family I grew up with, and the surrogates who surround me online.

And finally, because you know I just can’t sit with anything serious given enough time, I am truly grateful for the air-conditioned VIP bathrooms during the regatta. Seriously, it was really hot!

Love, Marla
