This week’s photo challenge from WordPress is the word “Solitary.” My response was discovered in the late morning sunshine yesterday as I walked along part of the Three Rivers Trail from downtown to Lake Park.
This photo from Coshocton, Ohio was taken from the footbridge crossing the Walhonding River, shortly before it meets with the Tuscarawas to form the Muskingum River. Before having the bridge to myself, I watched the photo shoot of a young man, possibly for senior pictures or homecoming court.
Autumn in Coshocton is packed with activity, but the wait made the photo and solo time on the bridge all the more meaningful.
