The Everyday Wife in Cape Town

I missed a great opportunity today. At a lovely poetry workshop at Open Book Festival in Cape Town, I sat next to Colleen Higgs, publisher of Modjaji Books. I was so busy chatting with her that it slipped my mind to add a photo of The Everyday Wife, our September book club reading, with the publisher of the book!

Next time…

In the meantime, here is the book with a view from my room here at The Townhouse Hotel.

Curious what to ask? Just take a look at July’s Q&A with Futhi Ntshingila, or August’s Q&A with Nthikeng Mohlele.

I can’t wait to read the questions you submit for the first poet in our book club!

Love, MarLa
